The Rock Tunnel is a naturally formed underground tunnel. Since it has not been developed, it is pitch black inside. A light of some sort is needed for travellers to find their way.

Pokemon Blue: Route 9 (3DS/GB)
Heading east from Cerulean, the route quickly utilizes the rocky terrain of the area, hopping down a ledge and passing a Trainer, making this portion of the route a one way, eastbound only passage. Turning east, the route passes an opening to the south that leads to another Trainer and TM30 (Teleport) in Generation I, or TM40.

Lt. Surge is known as The Lightning American. Apparently, he is or was an American soldier who fought in at least one war, during which Electric-type Pokémon saved his life. As a member of the army, Surge was a strict CO, and was rather cautious.

In Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, Bill can be found at the Sea Cottage on the Cerulean Cape, initially performing an experiment on Pokémon teleportation. However, Bill accidentally becomes combined with the body of a Pokémon.

Mt. Moon is a large cave with many floors and connectors. The interior of the mountain is comprised of caves spanning three separate floors.
